Where
It
All
Began......
Thirty years ago Elandorf Music Festival was an annual backyard Memorial Day weekend party.  Friends got together and cooked out, played music and volleyball, and simply enjoyed themselves on the quintessential mark of the beginning of summer.  Friends gathered at Buffalo Dan Solomon's house.  The house was aptly named Elandorf, which loosely translates into "house of friends".  These friends have shared a special bond since the first party in 1975, and even though the party has moved around a bit and the date has changed, the friends return year after year to step back in time for a few days and celebrate life.  As the Elandorf family tree grows bigger every year, so do the hearts of everyone involved.  It began as a seed, and more than 30 years later it continues to flourish, and the roots grow deeper and deeper with every passing year.  Elandorf means more than "House of Friends" to those who attend.  It means family.  It means peace.  It means unity, and harmony, togetherness, and oneness.  It means love and respect.  It means everything that is good, whole, and honest in life.  Elandorf salutes everyone who keeps the Elandorf spirit alive every day, and not just once a year.  After all, it is not just an event.  It is a revival of the soul.
